Downhill fun...

Look at thoses Beautiful skiis!!

Last year at the end of the skiing season at Beaver Mountain, Jason got him and Abi season passes. So Abi has been having so excellent one on one time with Daddy. She was so excited about her PINK SKIS WITH BUTTERFLIES. Really are there any better ones out there? I don't think so. She loves it and asks everyday when she gets to go again.

This is on of my favorit pictures of her skiing....I think it shows just how much fun she is really having.

Jason was so impressed with Abi the first time that they went..By the third time down Abi didn't want him to help her. Instead she wanted him to just stay at the top of the hill and come down once she was at the bottom. He is such a proud dad and can't wait until Madi and Fisher can start skiing as well. I guess that will me that I will have to dust off my skiis also. However, by that time I think that I will have to have Abi teach me how to ski. It really has been far.too.long. I don't know if I could even get up anymore. I will sure be fun when as a family we can all go together though. As for now Madi and Fisher get to have some good Mommy time. Or should I say that mommy is lucky enough to get some one on one time with Madi and Fisher.

Abi has a new ski partner now also. Jason's nephew Aaron's little girl Mickinley. They are the same age and both still learning how to ski. Abi was so excited to know that she was going to be skiing with them also. Now Saturday just Can't.Come. Fast.Enough.

This is what the end of the day looks like. And there is still a smile of her face. I am so glad that she is able to go with her Daddy and have some fun too!

Life is Good...

Our summer started with a great camping trip with the Crowell family. We went up on the Cub river in Idaho and camped. Abi and Madi were so excited to spend time with cousins. Especially Sarah and Leigh because they live in Washington. It was a great reminder of what is really important. Spending time with family and enjoying the beauty that can be found in nature.

As you can see in some of the pictures Madison's favorite thing was the 4-wheelers. She loved going on rides with dad and anyone else that would take her. And if no one could take her she would just pretend like she was driving them. Smiles were in great supply this weekend.
As a family we ventured to Riverdale Resort. If you have ever been there you know that it is not the greatest. It is more like a high class REDNECK waterpark. However, we still had a lot of fun swimming and going down the waterslide. I have to say that I have a wonderful family. Thanks to two of my very cute nieces Abi and Madi were well taken care of. We never had to worry about where they were. If we could see Quincie and Sydnee we always knew that the girls were close by. I am sure glad that my girls have good role models to look up to. Thanks girls for being so wonderful.
The fourth of July in SODA. This is the Foam party. Who knew that bubbles could be so much fun. Every year the fire department fills the firetruck up with bubbles and sprays them all over the park. Abi loved it. Madi not so much....She was mad because it got on her "Sparkly Shoes."
After seeing this picture I have to say that I see some similarities between Abi and I. She is mine. I am so blessed to have her. Some days she is my only Sanity.

This is one of our FAVORITE PLACES. Jason's parents own some land that we like to call the Canyon. We love summer because we can take the trailer up the Canyon and enjoy nature...and play also. It is the best place for HotDog roast and swinging.
Abi and Jason slept in the trailer multiple nights. They went on a hike up to Mushroom Rock. Abi was so excited to be able to stand on the top of it. Jason said that she was a great hiker. They have had some great daddy daughter time.
Abi's Mushroom. She loved the way these looked and felt. So we had to take pictures.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the summer. This picture says summer to me pure joy. It doesn't get much better then this.

And of course last but certainly not last....My little man Fisher. I can't believe that he is already SIX WEEKS old. Time seems to be going by too fast. I think that it needs to slow down just a little bit. Let my kids stay small for a little bit longer. I sure do love them and life. It really doesn't get much better than this.

Welcome Fisher Paul.....

They say that sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in our heart. I think whom ever came up with that thought must have been a parent. Meet Fisher Paul. He was born on June 2, 2010. He was our biggest baby yet weighting in at 6lbs 8 oz. We sure do love him. It is exciting to have a boy in our house.

If you can't tell Dad is sure proud to hold and have a son. He loves his daughters too, however, I think there might be a buddyship in bloom.
Abi loves being the biggest sister. She didn't want to let her new baby brother go. I know that she will be a big helper to mommy and brother. She is so sweet and I know that she will be a great sister. She already is one to Madi.
We are all so happy to have another addition in our house. I feel very blessed and am counting my blessing every day. I am so greatful to have the chance to be a mother to all three of my wonderful children.

Preschool Graduation...

Abigail was so excited to Graduate so she could move on the Kindergarten.
It is still really hard for my to believe that she is going to be old enough for Kindergarten.
At the graduation they gave out awards..Abi recieved the Mrs. Intellect award. I have to admit I wasn't
surprised by this. She is after all my little thinker. She loves to learn and surprises me daily with what she knows. Abi loved preschool, infact on the way home she started crying because she was going to miss it and all of her friends. Jason and I had to explain to her that her friends were going to be going to Kindergarten also. That seemed to help some. I am so proud of her and love watching her grow.

As you can tell by the pictures Abi was very excited. She was also excited to hear that Carly would be
in kindergarten with her, as you can see they are good friends.

Dance Recital....

Abi loves her dance class. Saturday was the big recital. I wish that our camera took better pictures, however, all the ones that we took in the dark didn't turn out. If anybody out there has any tips on how to take pictures in a dark room we are up for any ideas. Abi did great though. We were so proud of her. It is so fun to see her grow and improve even from just this winter ecital. She is are little dancer. She dances around the house non stop and we love her for it. She has even started to rub off on Madi a little. Next recital we will have both of them up there. Fingers crossed!! I don't know if Madi will be ready to listen to someone but we are going to give it a try. We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Christensen come and watch also. It was a great night and we look forward to many, many more.

My escape artist...

Don't be decived by her cute smile. This little one is Trouble with a capital T. We love her and are so glad that she is here. However, she has recently become our little escape artist. Madi has decided that it is okay to take the dog for a walk. That is without Mom or Dad. Needless to say this has resulted in...Mom almost having a heart attack and the doors constanly being locked. What's the one good thing about this trick??? Dad has decided that a fence just might be a really good idea. Hurray!!!

My Ode to Polly Pockets

For my friends out there who have young girls I am sure you know about Polly Pockets.
Teenie Tiny dolls with extra small shoes. These shoes seem to be attracted to my vacuum. As much as they drive me crazy I have to admit that my daughter LOVES them.

Abi will spend hours a day organizing the shoes and clothes so that her dolls can go "Shopping".  Who knew that something so small could bring such happiness and imagination. I just have to remind myself when I am ask, "Mom could you put this on her?" that I shouldn't think I hate these things, but instead think I am so glad she is happy.
